Harrison Turnbull is Managing Director and Principal in WAVERLY PARTNERS' Charlotte office. His business experience includes general management, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, commercial banking, strategy consulting, law, and executive search. He has been an executive search consultant since 1997. Harrison has completed executive search assignments for significant clients throughout the United States in manufacturing, industrial, and service sectors including durable goods, steel, automotive-related, financial services, corporate services, professional services, and not-for-profit.

Harrison has recruited C-Level and senior general management (CEO, COO, CFO, CIO, GC and GM) leaders as well as generalist and specialist positions in sales and marketing, finance and accounting (treasurer, controller, tax, and internal audit), corporate finance, capital markets, legal, human resources, and strategic planning.

Prior to entering the executive search profession, Harrison held a number of senior management positions including Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Director of AMVEST Corporation, Principal with Norelli & Company, and Commercial Loan Officer with NationsBank (now Bank of America). Harrison also practiced corporate and securities law with McGuire Woods, a multinational law firm.

Harrison obtained his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Washington & Lee University, earned his Master's of Business Administration and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Virginia and also successfully completed the Series 7 Registered Representative, Series 24 General Securities Principal and Series 63 examinations. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the Virginia Bar Association. As a former member of the Board of Directors of the University of Virginia's Health Services Foundation, Harrison served as Chairman of the Board for the University of Virginia's Ambulatory Surgery Center.
